Coastside Comics began months before I ever dreamed of having my own business. I started out selling comic books from my own collection at flea markets. After doing this for several months, it became tiresome driving from flea market to flea market. Out of necessity and with our second child on the way, I decided to open my own store selling comics! I opened Coastside Comics on May 1st of 1985 in the Pacific Manor neighborhood of Pacifica, California. This May marks the 29th year of being in business!

Without the help of my two daughters, Sharon and Heather, this website would not be available today. Being in business for such an extensive period of time would not have been possible without our loyal customers who have faithfully supported us over the years. Thank you! Romy (Coastside Comics Owner)
