PRE-ORDER: Sackboy: a Big Adventure Ost (2lp/dreamer Orb Vinyl) [LP] (ONLINE ORDER ONLY)

A good spinoff lifts from it's inspirations; a great spinoff dares to be a little different. Sackboy: A Big Adventure certainly falls into the latter camp. This is the Sackboy: A Big Adventure 2xLP. On it's two discs, pressed on groovy Dreamer Orb Vinyl, you'll find twenty tracks, a sampling platter of Sackboy's greatest hits from title theme to "The Final Showdown" and beyond. The album art is something to behold, too: Illustrator Haley bbanditt Wakefield crafted (get it?) cover art that captures Sackboy's intrepid tiny-guy-in-a-big-world attitude. Inside, you'll find a clever collage that actually forms a musical ledger in the shape of the game's recurring musical riff. It's a sweet way to acknowledge how integral music really is to Sackboy's solo outing.
