Clad in auramite, they were fashioned by the Master of Mankind as his advisors, emissaries, guardians, and champions. Now, they are an order in mourning, their tireless vigil a penance for allowing Him to fall to the arch traitor. The most important duty of the Custodes is to shield the Emperor on the Golden Throne, but in the desperate state of the galaxy, they travel the stars to smite any who would welcome the death of Humanity.
